2. Insert the key and open the safe.
3. Replace the dead batteries with 4 new AA batteries.

5. Remove the key once the safe is locked again.
Dead Battery - Without Manual Key: If your safe's battery is dead and you do not have the key, there are a couple of options available to resolve the issue:
1. Use an external battery pack or charger block to power the keypad. Once the keypad has power, you can enter your code to open the safe. Here are examples of the parts we recommend:
USB - Amazon Product or USB-C Amazon Product (Note: Look at the port on your keypad to confirm which cord would fit their safe)

Fingerprint Not Registering
If there is an issue registering your fingerprint for first time, clear the safe, by pressing *. Then place the middle of your fingerprint on the sensor first. Rotate slightly to the right side, then rotate slightly to the left side so that the sensor captures the full fingerprint with the three reads.
HOLD Message
If the HOLD message followed by a number (for example - HOLD15) is received, that indicates that an incorrect passcode has been entered too many times and the safe has begun the 15-minute countdown until code entry can be retried. Wait until the countdown is complete, before trying to re-enter the passcode. If the HOLD message continues to occur, use the manual key to open the safe and reset the passcode. Refer to the instructions below:
