Opening & Closing Your Safe
Opening / Closing Door
- Press START button. •“------” will be displayed on screen.
- Input six-digit code.
- "OPEN" will be displayed on screen along with beep sound. Note: Safe must be opened within 3-4 seconds.
- Turn the handle to close the door.
- Confirm proper closure of safe by turning the handle back to original state.
Reset Code
Your safe can be programmed with either 1 or 2 codes.
- Enter current code and open door.
- Press white memory button located inside door. “-CodE-“ will be displayed, then “USEr_” will be displayed.
- Press 1 then START button. “------” will be displayed.
- Enter new 6-digit code. “AgAin” , then “------” will be displayed.
- Enter new code again. “In 1” will be displayed.
- New code is set. Confirm new code works with door open.
- To add second code, Press 2 (in step 3) and repeat steps
Hide or Cancel Code
To hide or cancel your code:
Press START button twice for security mode to hide code. Press START button to cancel code entry.
Sound Effect
Sound Effect ON/OFF:
- Open door and press white memory button for 3 seconds. After “beep” message appears, “On-OFF” will be displayed.
- Press 0 then START for sound ON. Press 1 then START for sound OFF.
Keypad Lock Mode
Keypad Lock Mode :
- Press START for more than 3 seconds until “Act” appears. “Act” message signifies activation of keypad lock mode. Any keypad input will only display “Act.”
- To deactivate keypad lock mode, press START for more than 3 seconds until “dEAct” appears. Note: Keypad lock mode will remain despite removal of batteries.
Act Message
This message indicates that the keypad is locked. Press START for 3 seconds to deactivate keypad lock mode.
Err-03 Message
This error indicates that an incorrect pass code was entered. Retry code entry.
Alarm
5 consecutive incorrect code will sound alarm for 3 minutes. Press START button and enter correct pass code to stop the alarm.
No Response
If there is no response when the START button is pressed, there can be several possible causes:
- Incorrect insertion of batteries - Confirm correct insertion of batteries
- Keypad lock mode ON - Press START for 3 seconds to deactivate keypad lock mode
- Circuit error – Please send an email to support@mycubesafe.com and a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.
Green Light On - Does Not Open
If the green light is ON, and the safe does not open when "OPEN" is displayed, there can be several reasons:
- Low battery - Replace batteries
- Incorrect turning of handle/key - Turn handle clockwise
- Lock equipment error – Please send an email to support@mycubesafe.com and a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.

Cannot Change Code
There can be several reasons why you cannot change your code:
- Exceeded time limit during code change - Enter code in under 5 seconds
- Keypad malfunction – Click Create Ticket and a member from our Support Team will contact you to provide further assistance.
- Button error - Please send an email to support@mycubesafe.com and a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.
Mykit Accessory Pack
Every safe come with an accessory pack which contains a set of 4 AA batteries. Use the battery to provide power to the safe's keypad to setup your safe. The Mycube Fire Generation 2 safe does not come with a manual key.

Handling
Never move or pick up the safe with the door open. The safe will tip over because of the weight of the door.
