Forgot Code
Forgot Code - Manual Key
If you forgot your code, you can use your manual key to open the safe, then reset your safe program a new passcode. Refer to the instructions below:
- To unlock the safe with the key, reach underneath the keypad and press up on the bottom of the keypad to release the keyhole cover
- Insert the key and open the door - Refer to the link below for an instructional video on opening your safe:
- Once you have opened the safe, use a screwdriver to remove the back panel on the inside of the door, there are two screws, one in the front and the other in the back
- After removing the panel, hold down the reset button while inputting code **999#
- Once the code is reset, refer to the Setup Your Biocube video for instructions on setting up a new passcode:

Dead Battery
Dead Battery - Manual Key
If your battery died, you can use your manual key to open the safe. Refer to the instructions below:
- To access the keyhole, remove the bottom cover by pressing up on the black tab underneath the keypad
- Insert the key and open the door
- Replace the dead batteries with 4 new AA batteries
- The safe will retain your existing code, press Lock
- Remove key once safe is locked again

If you lost your manual key and your safe still has power, use your code to open your safe.

Setup

- Open the door, press **01#.
- You will hear “please enter your password.”
- Enter a 4-6 digit password and press #, you will hear "please do again."
- Re-enter your password and press #.
- You can now proceed with setting your biometric fingerprint
Fingerprint Registration

You must register your 4-6 digit passcode before completing fingerprint registration.
- Open the door, press **02#, you will hear “Please verify.”
- Enter your password and press #.
- After verification you will hear “Please put your finger on scan sensor”
- Then you will hear “Please do again” twice.
- When your fingerprint registration is completed successfully, you will hear “Fingerprint registration complete.”
- If verification fails, you will hear “verification failed”, system will quit. Please restart the process.
*Note: If there's any issue with the fingerprint while registering it for first time, clear the safe, by pressing *. Then place the middle of your fingerprint on the sensor first. Rotate slightly to the right side, then rotate slightly to the left side so that the sensor captures the full fingerprint with the three reads. *

Opening and Closing Your Safe
Refer to the instructions below to open & close your safe
- Open the Door
- Enter your password and press #, or place your registered finger, you will hear “verification complete.”
- If the password or fingerprint is not right, you will hear “verification failed.”
- If the wrong password has been entered 3 times in a row, the keyboard will be locked for 5 minutes.
- If the wrong fingerprint has been placed 5 times in a row, the scanner will be locked for 5 minutes.
- Close the Door
- Press #
Resetting Your Code
Refer to the instructions below to reset your code:

- Open the door, press ** and the current password and press #. You will hear “please enter new password”
- Enter the new password and press #, you will hear “please do again”
- Re-enter your password and press #.
- Your password change is complete!
Resetting Your Safe
Refer to the instructions below to reset your safe:
- Open the door, press **999#, you will hear “please verify.”
- Enter your password or registration fingerprint and press #.
- You will hear “reset complete.”
Volume Adjustment
Refer to the steps below to adjust your volume:
- Open the door and press **03# (*The keyboard only shows 2, 8, *, #)
- Press 2 - To turn up the volume
- Press 8 - To turn down the volume
- Press * To quit without saving
- Press # - To save and quit
Clearing An Entry
If you input an incorrect digit, press * to clear the keypad.
Keypad Not Illuminating
If your keypad is not illuminating, lightly press on the keypad to illuminate digits and wake up the keypad.
Fingerprint Not registering
If there is an issue registering your fingerprint for first time, clear the safe, by pressing *. Then place the middle of your fingerprint on the sensor first. Rotate slightly to the right side, then rotate slightly to the left side so that the sensor captures the full fingerprint with the three reads.
Verification Failed Message
If you are receiving the verification failed message when attempting to setup your safe for the first time, place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to reset the safe back to the factory default setting.
HOLD Message
If you are receiving the HOLD message followed by a number (example - HOLD15), that indicates that you have entered an incorrect code too many times and your safe has begun the 15 minute countdown until you can retry. Wait until the countdown is complete, before trying to reenter your code. If you continue to receive the HOLD message, use your manual key to open your safe and reset your passcode. Refer to the instructions below:

Mykit Accessory Pack
Every safe come with an accessory pack which contains a set of 4 AA batteries, wrenches and a set of keys. Please keep your manual keys and wrenches outside of your safe for easy access in the event that you get locked out of your safe or need to change the batteries.
Battery Replacement
Batteries should be replaced every 12 months. To replace your batteries:
- Open the battery compartment
- Insert 4 new AA batteries
