Forgot Code

Forgot Code - With Manual Key: If you forgot your code and have your manual key. Refer to the video link below for instructions on opening your safe using the manual key:

To unlock the safe with the key, reach underneath the keypad and press up on the bottom of the keypad to release the keyhole cover
Insert the key and open the door

Resetting Your Safe:

Once you have opened the safe, using a 3m Allen wrench, unscrew the screws located underneath the top of the safe and remove the back panel.
After removing the panel, hold down the reset button while inputting code **999#
Once the safe is reset, refer to the video link below for instructions on setting up a new passcode:

Code Registration:

Open the door, press **01#.
You will hear “Please enter your password.”
Enter a 4-6 digit password and press #, you will hear "please do again."
Re-enter your password and press #.
You can now proceed with setting your biometric fingerprint.

Fingerprint Registration: Mycube Touch Fingerprint Registration:

Open the door, press **02#, you will hear “Please verify.”
Enter your password and press #.
After verification you will hear “Please put your finger on scan sensor”
Then you will hear “Please do again” twice.
When your fingerprint registration is completed successfully, you will hear “Fingerprint registration complete.”
If verification fails, you will hear “verification failed”, system will quit. Please restart the process.
*Note: If there's any issue with the fingerprint while registering it for first time, clear the safe, by pressing *. Then place the middle of your fingerprint on the sensor first. Rotate slightly to the right side, then rotate slightly to the left side so that the sensor captures the full fingerprint with the three reads. *

Dead Battery

Dead Battery - With Manual Key: If your battery dies, you can use your manual key to open the safe. Refer to the instructions below:

To access the keyhole, remove the bottom cover by pressing up on the black tab underneath the keypad
Insert the key and open the door
Replace the dead batteries with 4 new AA batteries
The safe will retain your existing code, press Lock
Remove key once safe is locked again

Lost Key

If you lost your manual key and your safe still has power, use your code or registered fingerprint to open your safe.

Keypad Not Illuminating

If your keypad is not illuminating, lightly press on the keypad to illuminate digits and wake up the keypad.

Fingerprint Not Registering

If there is an issue registering your fingerprint for first time, clear the safe, by pressing *. Then place the middle of your fingerprint on the sensor first. Rotate slightly to the right side, then rotate slightly to the left side so that the sensor captures the full fingerprint with the three reads.

Verification Failed Message

If you are receiving the verification failed message when attempting to setup your safe for the first time, place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to reset the safe back to the factory default setting.

HOLD Message

If the HOLD message followed by a number (for example - HOLD15) is received, that indicates that an incorrect passcode has been entered too many times and the safe has begun the 15-minute countdown until code entry can be retried. Wait until the countdown is complete, before trying to re-enter the passcode. If the HOLD message continues to occur, use the manual key to open the safe and reset the passcode. Refer to the instructions below:

  1. Reach underneath the keypad and press up on the bottom of the keypad to release the keyhole cover
  2. Insert the key and open the door

Once your safe is open, refer to the steps below to reset your code:

  1. Open the door, press ** and the current password and press #. You will hear “please enter new password”
  2. Enter the new password and press #, you will hear “please do again”
  3. Re-enter your password and press #.
  4. Your password change is complete!

Mykit Accessory Pack

Your safe comes with an accessory pack containing 4 AA batteries, installation hardware, and a set of keys. Please keep your manual keys outside of your safe for easy access in the event that you get locked out of your safe or need to recharge your battery.

Battery Replacement

Batteries should be replaced every 12 months. To replace your batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment
  2. Insert 4 new AA batteries
