Receiving An Error

There can be several reasons why you are receiving error when attempting to open your safe. Please go to the Troubleshooting section for solutions to common errors or send an email tosupport@mycubesafe.comand a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.

Act Message

This message indicates that the keypad is locked. Press START for 3 seconds to deactivate keypad lock mode.

Err-03 Message

This error indicates that an incorrect pass code was entered. Retry code entry.

Alarm

5 consecutive incorrect code will sound alarm for 3 minutes. Press START button and enter correct pass code to stop the alarm.

No Response

If there is no response when the START button is pressed, there can be several possible causes:

  1. Incorrect insertion of batteries - Confirm correct insertion of batteries
  2. Keypad lock mode ON - Press START for 3 seconds to deactivate keypad lock mode
  3. Circuit error – Please send an email to support@mycubesafe.com and a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.

Green Light On – Does Not Open

If the green light is ON, and the safe does not open when "OPEN" is displayed, there can be several reasons:

  1. Low battery - Replace batteries
  2. Incorrect turning of handle/key - Turn handle clockwise
  3. Lock equipment error – Please send an email to support@mycubesafe.com and a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.

Cannot Change Code

There can be several reasons why you cannot change your code:

  1. Exceeded time limit during code change - Enter code in under 5 seconds
  2. Keypad malfunction – Click Create Ticket and a member from our Support Team will contact you to provide further assistance.
  3. Button error - Please send an email to support@mycubesafe.com and a member from our Customer Service Team will contact you to provide further assistance.

MyKit Accessory Pack

Every safe come with an accessory pack which contains a set of 4 AA batteries. Use the battery to provide power to the safe's keypad to setup your safe. The Mycube Fire Generation 2 safe does not come with a manual key.
