Dead Battery

Refer to the instructions below to replace the batteries:

External Battery Pack Setup:

1. Insert the 4 AAA batteries into the battery pack (included with your safe)
2. Connect the USB-C cord on the battery pack to the emergency power terminal port on the side of the keypad

Battery Replacement:

1. Press START, then enter your passcode, then START again
2. Turn the knob to open the safe
3. Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the safe door

The Mycube Fire Gen 3 safe does not come with a manual key. If you forgot your passcode, please contact our Customer Support Team at support@mycubesafe.com for assistance.

Act Message

This message indicates that the keypad is locked. Press START for 3 seconds to deactivate keypad lock mode.

Ch-03 Message

The “Ch-03” message appears when the incorrect passcode is entered. Enter the correct passcode to clear the message.

Alarm

If your safe alarm comes on, you have entered the incorrect passcode 5 times. Enter the correct passcode or wait for 3 minutes until the alarm stops.

No Response

This will occur if your batteries are dead. Refer to the instructions below to replace the batteries:

1. Insert the 4 AAA batteries into the battery pack (included with your safe)

No Response when Start Button is Pressed

If there is no response when the Start button is pressed, the possible causes and solutions are below:

1. Battery discharge - Replace your batteries.
2. Incorrect insertion of batteries - Confirm the correct insertion of batteries
3. Keypad Lock mode On - Press Start for 3 seconds to deactivate keypad lock mode
4. Circuit error - Please contact our Customer Support Team at support@mycubesafe.com for assistance.

Green Light On – Door Does Not Open

If the green light is on, but the door does not open when “OPEn” is displayed, the following issues could be the root cause:

1. Low battery - replace your batteries
2. Incorrect turning of the handle - turn the knob clockwise
3. Locking mechanism error - Please contact our Customer Support Team at support@mycubesafe.com for assistance.

Lo_bAt Message

This message will appear if your battery is low and needs replacing. Refer to the instructions below to replace the batteries:

Battery Replacement:

1. Press START, then enter your passcode, then START again
2. Turn the knob to open the safe
3. Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the safe door

Note: If your battery is dead, you need to use the external battery pack to power your keypad and open the safe to replace the batteries. Refer to the instructions below:

Battery Pack Setup:

1. Insert the 4 AAA batteries into the battery pack (included with your safe)
2. Connect the USB-C cord on the battery pack to the emergency power terminal port on the side of the keypad
3. Follow the batter replacement instructions above

Cannot Change Code

If you cannot change your passcode, the following can be the issue:

* You have exceeded the time limit to change the passcode - The passcode must be entered within 5 seconds
* Keypad malfunction - Please contact Mycube Support at support@mycubesafe.com for assistance.
* Button error - Please contact our Customer Support Team at support@mycubesafe.com for assistance.

MyKit Accessory Pack

Your safe comes with an accessory pack that contains an emergency battery pack, 4 AA batteries, 4 AAA batteries, installation hardware, and a manual. Please keep your emergency battery pack outside of your safe for easy access in the event that your batteries die and need to be replaced.

Battery Replacement

We recommend changing your batteries every 12 months. If the battery is dead, the external battery pack (provided with the safe) can be used to supply power to the keypad. Refer to the instructions below to replace the batteries:

When to Replace Batteries

You should replace your batteries if any of the following occurs:

1. The screen displays “Lo-bAt”
2. The fingerprint scanner is not clear enough
3. The screen fails to turn on after you press the Start button
4. There is no response or malfunction when the fingerprint sensor is pressed
5. “good” appears on the display along with a “beep beep” sound when the passcode is entered
6. The door fails to open even though “OPEn” is displayed after the passcode is entered

Handling and Precaution

Handling and safety precautions are to prevent any unexpected risk or damage. Please read before use.

* Be careful when opening and closing the door. Fingers or objects may get stuck.
* Keep away from children.
* Do not hit the edge of the safe to avoid injury.
* Safe is heavy. Be careful when moving or installing the safe to avoid any injury.
* Firmly fix the safe to the ground/surface when installing. When moving safe, inquire with a professional if needed.
* Improper handling of the safe can cause damage to the floor or table.
* Avoid placing fragile objects, such as ceramics or glass, on the safe.
* The safe may fall and cause injury. Place the safe on a flat surface.
* The safe door is heavy when open if the safe is not secure, the weight of the door may tilt the safe.
